• Online Documentation

Technical Editing

	Control all aspect of a document project.
	Interface directly with the document project's author(s) and/or designated customer personnel.
	Coordinate word processing, proofreading, illustrating, art checking, and reproduction activities.
	Are responsible for the accuracy, quality, consistency, and on-time delivery of documents.

Word Processing

	Formatting documents to the style directed by the technical editor and customer.
	Page marking, paragraph and line numbering per technical editor and customer direction.
	Entering text, tables, mathematical equations, statistics, and various other data into documents.
	Integrating graphics into documents
	Proofreading and spell checking
	Document scanning and Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
	Document conversion from legacy formats and paper to word processing formats (i.e., Word, WordPerfect, SGML, etc.).
Note: The Online Documentation Group handles conversion to online formats.

Technical Illustration
 
Technical Illustration is responsible for fulfilling the diverse illustrating and CAD requirements of EDO TSO clients and our own engineering, software, executive management, manufacturing, business development, and documentation/publishing departments.

EDO's Technical Illustration Group uses PC workstations loaded with CAD, illustration, and drawing software. The workstations have scanners, printers, and/or plotters attached, depending on the current project.

Our Technical Illustration Group has the expertise, equipment, and software to produce:
	MIL-SPEC illustrations and Level III CAD drawings.
	High quality commercial business illustrations
	Digital pictures
