EDO provides custom comprehensive Information Management Solutions that take customers from a base plan to acquiring and storing information, and finally to information delivery in the proper format to applicable people.

Information Management Planning

We assign an Information Management Team to develop and deliver a unique Information Management Plan. The plan is based on customer inputs/requirements that are coupled with EDO TSO's business, Quality Assurance, safety, engineering, and IT expertise.

The Information Management Plan is used by EDO and/or the customer to implement a complete information management system.

Information Gathering

Our Information Management Team and designated customer personnel gather and compile information from:

• Documentation
• Diagrams
• Business procedures
• Databases
• Web sites
• Advertising literature
• Test procedures
• Quality Control (QA) processes
• Safety procedures

Information Distribution

The EDO Information Management Team and designated customer personnel convert, format, and distribute information based on the Information Management Plan. Information is distributed to designated personnel using the source information and delivery format called for in the plan.

Information Management System Modification

The Information Management Plan can be modified by the customer or EDO to accommodate organizational, technical, product, administrative, etc. changes.

Information distribution formats include: databases/reports, web pages, videos, audios, CD/DVDs, Intranet/Portal, presentations, and paper/online manuals.

Information System Training

Informal Training

We provide practical training on the customer's Information Management System coupled with documentation on system operation and maintenance. This training is available on the areas of the Information Management System developed by EDO.

Formal and Computer Based Training

EDO can develop Information Management courseware for formal classroom and/or Computer/eLearning utilization. This training is customizable to meet customer specific training requirements.
